All Inclusive Cruises

Going on a cruise is a lifestyle statement these days. Plus of course, a cruise journey, whether on the high seas or a river can be a lot of fun. Thus more and more people these days are going on cruise vacations for adventure and to relax. One typicality of a cruise is that here the journey, rather than the destination is important. Though the destination might be great, but the journey itself is equally, if not more attractive. And while doing it, you can just sit back and relax or indulge in a range of activities.

So why haven’t cruises become so popular yet? One main reason is that you need to plan and spend for everything – airline tickets, hotel reservations, entertainment, and sightseeing options. Plus of course the cost of the cruise. This is where all-inclusive cruises come in. These all-inclusive cruises are ideal for all those who just want to make the booking and want someone else to manage all the other hassles.

Advantages and Disadvantages of all-inclusive cruises

The advantages as mentioned above are obvious. Someone else, who obviously is an expert in this line, makes all the planning and arranging on your behalf. Even the intricate details such as lodging and eating are taken care off. For most people this is great news. In our busy schedule, who has all the time to do the research, compare all the available options and make all the necessary arrangements? Also, you are letting someone who is an expert in this take the best decision for you. Plus, all-inclusive cruises also come cheap as the entire plan including all traveling, fooding and the cruise itself becomes a part of the plan.

All-inclusive cruises come with a few disadvantages as well. Since the plans are made for all, there is no room for individual likings here. For example, if you have particular meal interests or want some special entertainment, then you have to pay extra as it is not part of the plan. Your all-inclusive cruises plan will almost always not include or have limited alcoholic beverages. This includes entertainment as well. If there is a casino on board, your boarding pass may not come with free tickets to the casino. You will have to shed extra money to get them. So when you are booking all-inclusive cruises, it is necessary to know them in advance.

So do not be hasty while selecting all-inclusive cruises. First conduct some research, ask a few friends, and better still those who have actually gone on a cruise before taking a decision. And another thing – weigh the all-inclusive cruises plan against the facilities separately to genuinely assure yourself that the plan is saving you money.
